Marco Antonio Firebaugh (1966-2006) was an American politician and attorney who served in the California State Assembly from 1998 until his death in 2006. Firebaugh was born in Tijuana, Mexico, and grew up in South Gate, California. He graduated from Stanford University with a degree in political science and earned his law degree from the UCLA School of Law.

Firebaugh was a champion of immigrant rights and education. He authored several important pieces of legislation, including the California DREAM Act, which allows undocumented students to receive state financial aid for college, and Assembly Bill 540, which allows undocumented students to pay in-state tuition at California's public colleges and universities.
Firebaugh died at the age of 39 from complications related to liver disease. His legacy lives on through his advocacy for immigrant rights and education, and his contributions to California's legislative history.
