Advanced Placement

The Advanced Placement Program® (AP) comprises several advanced courses offered at the high school level that students with the right motivation and academic preparation can enroll in to receive college credit. AP examinations are administered once a year and are scored on a scale of 1 to 5 by college and university professors and experienced AP teachers. Many U.S. colleges offer credit for AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.
