November 23, 2024: Join us for Lynwood United and Receive Free Health, Wellness Services

Lynwood Unified families and staff are invited to join Lynwood United, a free community wellness celebration dedicated to supporting Lynwood Unified families, promoting togetherness and highlighting health and well-being.

Lynwood United will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 23 at Firebaugh High School, 5246 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Attendees will be able to access a variety of essential services, including free groceries, diapers, healthcare enrollment assistance, eyeglasses, vaccinations, healthcare screenings, dental care, mental health support and more. The event will also feature a live DJ, food trucks and gift card giveaways.

The event is being held in partnership with the California Association of African American Superintendents and Administrators (CAAASA) Cares, which works to address health inequities and provide underserved communities with essential resources. Through this partnership, Lynwood Unified extends CAAASA’s vision of health equity, working together to create a stronger, healthier community.
