Who is Ms. Rojas?

Hello my name is Martha Rojas and I have been teaching at Firebaugh High School since it opened back in 2005.  I am also a proud product of Lynwood.  I graduated from Lynwood High School where Lynwood Middle School is now located.  I attended and earned an AA degree in math from El Camino College (ECC), a BS in math from CSUDH, a single subject teaching credential in math from CSUDH, and last but not least a MA in math from CSUDH.  In addition to my educational background, I have also earned teaching experience by working in the educational field at both ECC & CSUDH since 2000.  Ever since I can remember math has been my strongest subject.  I recall helping out my siblings and friends when I was in elementary.  As I grew up I realized that helping others gave me a feeling of great joy and satisfaction.  As I grew up and started thinking about my future career, I started to develop my philosophy for life.  Since I enjoyed helping other, I strongly believe that the best way to help others is thru education, by helping students learned.  I'm still working on this, to be continued....
