What is AP – and Why Does It Matter?
Advanced Placement (AP) courses at Firebaugh High School offer students the chance to take college-level classes, earn college credit, and build the skills needed for success in higher education and beyond.
Subjects range from math and science to humanities and the arts, helping them develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Students who take AP courses are more likely to attend college, graduate on time, and thrive academically. By scoring a 3 or higher on the AP Exam, students can even save time and money by earning college credit early.
